I hope you enjoy this special holiday. I also hope that in the midst of your celebrations and activities you and your family take some time to talk about the reason this day was set apart as a holiday; in the midst of enjoying your freedom to remember the incredible price of that freedom — for many have paid the ultimate price in defense of our country.

Please join me and the Keepers Team in praying that God would give comfort and peace to those who mourn, and courage and strength to all who serve.

~To all our Keepers military families ~
Thank you for your sacrifice. May God bless and encourage you, provide for your every need, and give you a deep abiding peace as you trust in Him.

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2

{This holiday holds special significance for my family this year, as our oldest son has chosen to follow in his grandfather’s and great-grandfather’s footsteps, serving in the Armed Forces by joining the Oklahoma National Guard. The unit he will join has just returned from Afghanistan where they lost several soldiers. Please join me in praying for their families and friends.}
