Appreciating Our Differences
I crave relationships. I get energized by being around people. My husband is the opposite. I need alone times to recharge but he needs alone to function. Neither is bad—just differences in our personalities. The more I have learned about introverts/extroverts, the more I have learned to appreciate our differences.
Maybe you are in a similar situation? We can complain and nag or we can embrace and pray. It helps everyone when we turn our frustrations into praise to our Lord. We can recognize our personality traits, appreciate how God made him and encourage him in those relationships. This would be what an “excellent wife” would do. (Proverbs 31:10).
Sometimes an introvert needs a little help to “see” who God has placed in their lives. Let’s be that wife that does exactly that!
“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;” Romans 12:10
