Gift Giving Ideas for Easter

Posted by Lori Merrill on 03/27/2018

Here are a couple of ideas given to us by our friend Irene Delano (Gift Giving 101) for sharing God's love and the story of Jesus' Resurrection. How about taking a moment right now to ask the Lord who, in your life, needs to receive an expression of love from you in the coming days?

  1. Easter Basket- Include breakfast items like biscuit mixes, jams, honey, or homemade bread with fruit. Could add coffee and syrups. If your recipient has young children, consider adding the Resurrection storybook or a Bible if you’re led to do so. Be sensitive to the idea.
  2. Invite a family or someone on your heart to come see and celebrate Easter Sunday with you. Include lunch out or at your home afterwards. You could even bless them with the Easter Basket.

You could use part of these verses or all of them to share the truths from God's Word. He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. Luke 24:6-7

We pray you are encouraged to share God's love with others with each monthly post. Thank you Irene for sharing your ideas with us!

In His Love,
