Lord, Help Me Encourage My Husband
Posted by Steph Whitley on 01/27/2021
I’ve been married for almost 24 years and I still have to pray over my words often. I want to be encourager to my husband but some days I struggle. Here are some things I learned to pray in the Called to be a Keeper study regarding my words.
Lord, help me...
1/to be an encourager to my husband and not a discourager.
2/to speak words that build and bless.
3/to be careful with my words and not careless.
4/to resist nagging or being critical.
5/to pause and pray before I respond.
But what about the areas that we see in our husband that need changing? Let’s remember prayer is our greatest hope for lasting change.
