Loved with Grace
We all have a deep need to be loved no matter what—no matter how bad the mess up, the mistake, the sin—our deepest need is to be loved.
God forgives and God loves His children—even when we are at our worst. So being able to love our spouse, our children, and even ourselves during our darkest days is a gift of His grace. And isn’t that what we want and need—His grace and mercy to shine on us and through us to those we love.
It’s one thing to know you are loved through your successes, but to know you are just as loved during your failures is a love that says “you are accepted and beautiful” to God and to me.
“Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.” Hebrews 4:16
