If I am not careful, I can get stuck in "worry mode" all day long. When you have 6 people under one roof, there is always something to worry about. Currently, I am trying to manage my anxiety regarding some upcoming changes for our family this year. So how do I manage my tendency to worry or be anxious?
I try to STOP the "what if" questions".
I try to STOP replaying my worries over & over.
I try to START shaping my worries into prayers.
I try to START reminding my heart who God is.
I whisper these truths to my heart: God, You are all-wise & all knowing, You are capable & skilled, You are strong & mighty, You are trustworthy & faithful, and so much more. Nothing is too hard for You.
God, help us to live our lives more in prayer mode and less in worry mode. And help us to keep entrusting our worries into Your skilled and loving hands. Amen. Hugs to you, Steph Whitley #calledtobeakeeper
